A color-enhanced photo of Pluto taken by NASA's New Horizons spacecraft
In July 2015, after nine years of arduous trekking, the New Horizons probe finally flew over Pluto and was able to see its true face of Lushan, becoming the first probe to visit Pluto. The photos sent back have touched countless long-awaited earthlings.

The lighthouses of Warnemünde, Germany
These lighthouses mark the harbour entrance of Warnemünde, a charming port town located about 150 miles north of Berlin in the Rostock district of Germany. Originally a fishing community founded in the late 12th century, Warnemünde has evolved into a popular seaside resort and boasts a beautiful stretch of white sand dotted with old-fashioned beach chairs. The town's name derives from the mouth of the river Warnow, which empties into the Baltic Sea, seen here.
